Are you ready for your session?  Terrific!  Here is some additional information that will help me to create something beautiful for you.

1) Decide Where the Portrait Will Be Displayed, Colors, Style:

For a family portrait the best question to ask yourself is where do you want to hang the new portrait?  How is the room you want to display it in decorated?  Consider the main colors in the room - these are the colors that should be incorporated into your portrait.

2) The Portrait Session:

When you hire Generations Photography you get Jennifer Fink and no one else.  Jennifer is experienced at capturing the unique qualities in each of her clients.  Your session will be relaxed and fun - what more could you want?  Relaxed clients get better portraits so sit back and enjoy, it'll be worth it to you.

3) The Sales Session:

Your portraits are presented as a musical slide show for you to enjoy. While viewing your portraits on our large screen, Jennifer will help you select your favorites based on technical and artistic considerations.  We allow an hour for the presentation and selection.   During this time you will decide on the sizes and finishes you would like to order.  50% payment is due at this time with the balance at pickup. We accept cash, check, Mastercard/Visa, and American Express.   We also have payment plans.  Your finished portraits will be completed in approximately 3 weeks.   All orders will meet our high quality standards, that’s a promise!  We have packages that fit most budgets.  Call today for a consultation to discuss how Generations Photography can create lasting heirloom portraits for your family..

4) Your Finished Portraits:

All finished portraits are retouched and artistically enhanced to provide the most pleasing portrait possible.  This artwork is done by Jennifer as the final touch to the creative masterpiece you have created with her.  All portraits are guaranteed against defect or improper printing.  To compliment your new family heirloom we have a large variety of frames that are competitively priced. If you have a specific decor that you are trying to match, we will work with you to accomplish this to ensure that your new heirloom is the jewel of your home.

Senior Information

Congratulations!  You've decided that this milestone is worth documenting in a fun and artistic way.  There's more to graduation portraits than what you get from the school photographer and I am pleased you’ve chosen Generations Photography to create something awesome for you.

So, how do we go about this?  It's easy.

1)    Schedule a consultation appointment with Jennifer, to go over what you want. However you want to show the world who you are is what we need to incorporate into your portraits.  (This can be done via phone if you’re at your computer.)

Keep in mind the following:

Something Timeless - so you don't laugh 20 years from now
Something Casual - your own unique style that says, "This is me!"
Something Different - crazy, fun, not your everyday look
Something Glamorous - formals, spike heels, a fashion look
Something Handsome - for those future girlfriends and for mom
Identity Clothes - uniforms, sports, band, letter jacket, etc.
Your Personal Stuff - car, instruments, sports stuff - no limit!

2)    Now that you've decided on the direction of your portrait, the rest is fun!  You've scheduled your session, is there more to do?  Just a little.  Make sure you have all the clothes, accessories, paraphernalia you want in your portraits all gathered together, ready to go. You don't want to forget that all-important something!

Some Details:

Hair:    Don't get it cut too close to your session and don't change the style just for the portraits.  You want to be you.

Nails:       Your hands will be in many of your portraits so make sure they look good.

Make -up:    Girls, we suggest an extra application of mascara & bring powder & lipstick for touchups.  If you don't normally wear makeup, now is the time to try a little out.  Studio lights can wash you out, so you need a little extra.

Clothing:    Bring a variety of colors and styles for all seasons. More is better so we can pick and choose what works best.

Facial Hair:    Please remove unwanted facial hair before your session.

Tanning:    Avoid being overly tanned for your skin tone - it can add weight to your face.  Avoid sunburns, uneven spray tans and tan lines because these cannot be retouched.

Blemishes:    We use the magic of Photoshop to remove acne, so don't stress about your skin!

3) Now, show up on time for your session, relax and have fun.  The rest is up to us!

4) In 7-10 days you will receive a proof book of all the best from your session.  At this time you will schedule an ordering session where  you will view your portraits on our screen and, Jennifer will help you select your favorites.  We will also show you the various options available to you utilizing your favorites.   We allow an hour for the presentation and selection.   During this time you will decide on the sizes and finishes you would like to order.  Full payment is due at this time unless other terms are agreed upon. We accept cash, check, Mastercard/Visa, and American Express. Your finished portraits will be completed in approximately 2-3 weeks depending on our workload.
